Finding novel methods and solutions to locate nodes in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is attracting many researchers. In this paper, Received signal strength indicator (RSSI) based location of an equilateral triangle positioning and Cooperative location system (CLS) and ranging algorithms for wireless sensor networks are proposed. The simulation is carried out in mat lab. These two methods can reflect the reality networks effectively.
