High data rates are achieved by single user MIMO system using spatial multiplexing technique achieving spatial diversity gain in point to point transmission. Nowadays multiple users are sharing same radio sources in many communication services. In these Multi user systems, the signal detection is very complex process which requires interference cancellation at Base station (BS). This paper presents two different signal detection methods. These are Channel inversion and Block diagonalization methods. Both methods are analyzed with number of users. The numerical analysis is done using Matlab.
