Lip Reading and Speech to Text Converter for Deaf and Mute

Abstract

This chapter proposes an idea for developing a system for lip reading and speech to text converter for the deaf and mute. It basically uses digital image processing technique for lip reading and conversion into audio and digital signal processing for speech to text conversion.
